We seem to be involved in a sort of unit arms race at the moment, where people are doubling their unit's toughness and attack power each minute, just to keep up with everyone else. Can we please put some sort of cap on unit powers? Half the current units can beat levels practically single-handedly, at least on Normal; when we use them all at the same time, even Legendary's going to be too easy to be fun. Even given the Inmates' astounding lack of gaming skillz. :-)
I propose that we cap our units so that they cannot single-handedly take on (barring little level-specific tricks) 30 points of enemies on Normal. If an AN unit fights a Trow and a couple of Zerks, or 15 Warriors, or 8 Myrks, or 30 Thrall, it should *lose*. I'm not saying it can't win by tricks, using the terrain and handy obstacles and satchel charges and whatnot; I'm just saying that if a 30-point platoon of enemies are charging your unit, you shouldn't be able to kill them all just by unloading all your distance attacks on them until they get close enough and then charging in and hacking them to bits.
Just a suggestion.
