We started out with Forrest, Drunken Ghol, Milk Man (welcome back Milk!), William Wallace, Dan "Face" Rudolph, SiliconDream, Smeagol, Vince Valentine from ƒƒ, Neomorpheous, and of course Duckyjo. Duccky hosted up a game, and we joined.
We talked. A lot. For a whole hour, even. And about all sorts of things. Like which Fallen Lord is which - some people thought the Faceless Man became Soulblighter, and whether Shiver really is the Voiceless One, and who is Bonesplitter. Then we talked about which Fallen are female. Someone asked Forrest who Alric was in a former life. We yacked about our units, and Forrest decided to make a map of the Asylum to put them in. We got into a huge debate over which Fallen Lord is more powerfull than another. Drunken Ghol lagged our or something, because he refused to check in and we had to boot him. We started a game of bre'Unor Attack, but the game lagged out waiting for the players.
So we tried again. Milk Man insisted on playing the Light version, then he lagged out before checking in, so we booted him and him and went on to lose horribly on bre'Unor Dark Deluxe, in which Will went OOS and dropped, then Smeagol dropped for no apparent reason. Then we argued whether M1's Shiver could beat M2's Soulblighter, and most agreed on Shiver. We questioned if Soulblighter was really dead (his heart's still alive!), then went on to play Limbs, Heads and Smoking Craters.
But the game lagged waiting for players again. So we tried again. Vince quickly went OOS. Face and Neo dropped later on. But despite that, we almost won! Almost.
Then Ducky had to go. Nick "Plague Bearer" O'Keefe joined up, and kindly hosted with his snazzy cable modem. We tried to help him beat The Summoner, on Heroic, and - you guessed it - lost horribly. We all conceded that the upcoming Lord of the Rings movie will be cool, but that a Myth movie would be cooler. We contemplated writing a screenplay, and someone brought up the old Myth Bible (in the beginning there was Forrest, and Forrest said "Let there be story!" and so there was) idea.
So we tried playing The Summoner on Simple, but lost anyway because Forrest was paying too much attention to the X-rated chat to notice that he had walked Myrdred right up to a bunch of baddies. It was concluded that Myrdred doesn't like sex talk, though he must have hundreds of babes for such a dirty old man. We debated whether Zerks count as a separate race from Humans, and what separates Humans from fir'Bolg, and whether bre'Unor are Human or fir'Bolg or a whole 'nother race. Then Forrest left to watch StarGate.
The rest of us went on to discuss our AN and eRPG units, and then played Landing at White Falls and WON! Wow!
