Balor's Armor

In 'Out of The Barrier' we are told: "Alric babbled about a suit of armor so powerful that its wearer was invulnerable to attack and tireless in battle. He claimed that it was buried somewhere in the eastern desert, and that he had been sent by The Head to retrieve it."

This armor sounds very much like the armor Balor wears, with the exception that Balor is eventually killed whilst wearing his armor, and this armor is supposed to make the wearer invulnerable. Just a thought.
