I was just thinking about orders and order-tags last night, and I remembered how I used to think that the different CP sub-orders were actually unit preferences, for quicker assignment of units in games.
Well, this led me to think of something for our Asylum order - how about, after the ~Asylum~ tag, we put four letters in parenthesis representing our unit-type preferences. These four letters would be M (melee), R (ranged), E (explosive), and S (special), and would be arranged in decending order of preferences. For example, I would be-
Forrest ~Asylum(SMRE)~
So I would prefer Special units (Jmen, Pathfinders, Trow, Deceiver, Alric, etc), but if I can't have them then Melee units (Warriors, Berserks, Herons, Myrkridia, Brigands), then Ranged units (Archers, Fetch), then last of all Explosive units (Dwarves, Mortars, Warlocks).
So, if we were playing Shiver and the players were-
Forrest ~Asylum(SMRE)~
Duckyjo ~Asylum(ERMS)~
Blackhand ~Asylum(SMER)~
Joyeuse ~Asylum(REMS)~
William Wallace ~Asylum(MSRE)~
Milk Man ~Asylum(ESRM)~
-then Joy would get Oderic, Will would get the Herons, Ducky or Milk would get Andvari and Seanchaide (Ducky would prolly get Sean since Locks are borderline ranged/explosive), and either Blackhand or I would get Myrdred, with the loser getting one of Will's Herons.
Whatchall think?
