Over a decade ago I came here as an impetuous, foolish youth of thirteen. During that time, I will not go into specifics, I made a rather big nuisance of myself and for that I would like to apologize.
I have always been passionate about the game of Myth and the story behind it. That said, I've always had the habit of taking something (especially something with strong archetypes and an emotional backbone) and in a sense editing it, pairing it down, and "perfecting it", into a Platonic ideal of which I am especially fond.
This sort of editorializing, although suiting me in many ways, I understand is detrimental to others' authentic sense of the sublime and the real. And so for that particular uncalled for disgrace, I would like to fully say that I am sorry.
Myth remains one of my fondest memories, and although I have grown into other things, there'd be nothing better for me if someone turned the first two myth games into great works of cinema. There is no myth more myth-like, more sensuous as well as numinous, then the story contained herein.
