Ok, i know this is outdated, but the text in the legends and lore section which i take as the latest doesn't cover the issue.
So could anyone please tell me what i have missed?
1. Axe age - leveller (unknown) kills some hero. Dark age bgins.
2. Supposedly - the leveller dies shortly thereafter and returns as [something] reborn.
3. this [something] reborn is slain by Tireces, who dissappears. Light age begins (Age of Reason)
4. some hero succedes Tireces shortly before the end of the light age.
5. Tireces returns as Moagim, kills the nameless hero, dark age begins.
6. Moagim is slain (by Mazzarin) and then returns as "Moagim reborn" (after Mazzarin is killed by the Watcher).
7. Connacht slays Moagim reborn, Wind age ends, Wolf age begins.
8. Connacht dissappears and a hero succedes him (possibly one of the nine).
9. Connacht returns as Balor, kills the hero, dark age begins (Sword Age).
10. Balor is slain (by Alric) and returns as Balor Reborn (after Alric is slain, possibly by the Watcher Again).
11. A hero kills balor reborn, Sword age ends.
As far as Myth 2 goes. we are somewhere between Balor is slain and Balor returns as Balor Reborn.
This would imply that Alric is not the hero of light, but the powerful avatara that destroys reincarnated leveller before dying. (this was mentioned in the legends section).
So the corrected cycle should look something like this:
Minor hero is slain by leveller - leveller is slain by avatara - avatara slain by ??? (watcher) - leveler reborn - reborn slain by Major Hero - Major hero succeded by minor hero - Major hero returns as leveller - back to start.
Translated to the cycle of known heroes we have:
hero 1 - leveller 1 (killed by avatara) - avatara slain (by watcher? - speculation) - leveler reborn - Tireces kills leveller reborn - Tireces disappears - hero succedes him - Tireces returns as Moagim - Moagim kills hero - Moagim slain (by Mazzarin) - Mazzarin slain by Watcher - Moagim reborn - Moagim reborn killed by Connacht - Connacht dissapears - hero succedes Connacht - Connacht returns as Balor - Balor kills Hero - Balor slain by avatara (Alric) - Alric slain? (by watcher again) - Balor reborn?
