My dad got me Myth tfl back in 1998 (when I was 13-I think that game seriously messed up my development and made me a darker, more cynical, more pink-flodyish kind of person as a result). Since then, with the dozens of strategy games, I have always wanted to return to Myth. I think I played more Myth than the next two computer games combined. But, with a lack of an ISP-provided e-mail (so I cannot play online), and with the obvious outdatedness and lack of new players on Myth, and with the lesser success of Myth 3, I really want there to be a myth 4.
I love the Myth games-no other game is that dark, that serious, that funny, and that adrenaline-intensive. Warcraft is silly, Civ is slow, Red Alert is also silly, ect. But I also know that if there was to be a Myth 4, Bungie would have to do it (or like 20 myth fanatics would have to be on the team :p) to make sure its good.
(1) Can Bungie buy back the rights and do it, with working on Halo 3?
(2) Would Bungie profit off of it?
(3) Has computer programming reached the level where it can really improve on Myth not just graphically but physically and conceptually (I have this image of Myrkridia leaping over wooden fences and leaping on a warrior, tackling him and tearing his face out-and that kind of stuff would be, to put it eloquently, very awesome)?
