I got to thinking as I played the last solo level of myth II and watched the ending. The ending script talks about how Soulblighter was killed because he attepted to force the cycle of light and dark. This however, is untrue. The Wolf Age that preceeded the new age, was an age of light, and after its thousand year reign, Balor appeared to once again claim the land for the dark. Alric broke the cycle, however, when he killed Balor and had his head thrown into the great devoid. So Alric truly forced the cycle, not Soulblighter. *Looks around nervously*
