Help with reinstalling Myth

I dont know which forum this belongs in, so im putting it here since this has the most traffic. I recently found my copy of myth while moving out of my house. When i found it, I instantly had fond flashbacks of playing this game. Anyways, I descided to reinstall it and give it another play. My problem is even after downloading the 1.3 patch, I cannot change the graphics settings. It just stays on software. I dont remember what the game was like in any other setting, but I remembering it looking better. Since this is just an aesthetic setting, I dont really mind, BUT i would like to see this game in all its splendid glory. I have a 64mb Geforce 3. If anyone can tell me how to fix this problem, I would really appreciate it.
