I was going to start working on a 3rd party plug and decided to make it based on the continuation of Myth II's storyline... Primarily about the next coming leveller into the Myth world.
I was looking through some of the topics on the cycle generated throughout the myth world and how the leveller comes and goes every 1000 years, so on and so forth. (Correct me if I'm wrong on this) So we get to Balor and even though Balor is suppossed to win, he loses against Alric, the first hero to fight the first leveller of that era which lost would normally lose against the leveller before being yet reincarnated into another hero then beating the leveller reborn.
So now I'm confused, because the pattern is suppossed to go like so... right?
1) Leveller comes round 1st hero fights him, loses (1 millenia dark)
2) Leveller Reborn comes round, 1st hero previously reincarnated kills him (1 millenia light)
3) 1st hero dies comes back as Leveller...Leveller Reborn's spirit comes back as hero, he dies (1 millenia of dark)
...etc.
Since Balor fits into stage 1...alric should have lost...but he didn't.... this is where I'm asking personal opinions on what I should make for my 3rd party plugin... Is it more plausible to have Balor becoming the Leveller reborn...?...even though he messed up the cycle by losing? Or is Alric going to die, 1 millenia later he comes back as the leveller again. I can't really come up with any solid based ideas, and I sort of want to make a plugin that isn't going to be completely stupid and doesn't work whatsoever with the myth storyline.
Also, who would be standing behind the new leveller? (like the fallen lords and balor)
