Cat1b is stuff which is in BOTH cat2a AND cat2b. It seems logical to me that if unreleased Bungie material says something, and then released and Bungie-authorized material says the same thing, it's pretty damn canon. But if it's just prerelease, or just something in a Bungie-authorized (but non-Bungie) source, then it's pseudocannon.
