... and what about the Fallen names after Myth3 ?
You list is really great :
Soulblighter (Damas, Anshar), Twice Born, Patron of the Hanged
The Deceiver (Myrdred), Source of the Five Hundred Poisons
Shiver / The Voiceless One (Culwyeh / Ravanna), Mother of Plagues, First Lady of the Fallen / Loveless Child of the Unwed Dawn
The Watcher (Bahl'al), Mad Goat of the Fens
The Lurker (Bheil), Bonesplitter, Twice-born Daughter of Flood and Famine
The Faceless Man
But it's just me.. or have you noticed that there are 3 types of "names" for the Lords ?
Shiver is a substantive.
Faceless man(terror) and Voiceless One are 2 descriptions.. I do not know the correct term......
While all the other, Soulblighter, Deceiver, Watcher, Lurker and even Bonesplitter have "THE" in front of them, just like :
The Soulblighter
The Deceiver
The Watcher
The Lurker
The Bonesplitter
and these names are.. well... damn me.. well all these names have the "er" part that means someone who does that action........ geez.
Just like : The Watcher = the one who watch
The Soulblighter = The one that makes souls blight
etc.
I tought it would be pretty fitting if every Lord had an entry for everykind of "nickname", could this be possilbe ?
It could even be that the same Lord receives different names from different people. Just like the "Thunder Rod" in Sam Raimi's "Army of Darkness" that was actually a shotgun.
Or an airplane described like an iron bird etc.
Myrdred for instance is known as The Deceiver (we can assume that Connacht and Damas forged this dispregiative name); so the name Deceiver has its origin in Muirthemne, the most civilized city. We can stress this a bit saying that every name similar to Deceiver(soulblighter, watcher etc.) is used in the cath bruig empire; if you go west towards Gowen you'll find a more barbaric people, describing their enemies in a more.. pictorial way, just like Source of 500 poisons etc.
