Trow and Myrkridia...

Somebody's probably already pointed this out, but in Myth III, the trow are first encountered fighting with the myrkridia (though not in the actual level). Myth II tells us of their hatred for he 'krids, so why all friendly? Also, does Myth III count as "fact", i.e. in terms of Myth I and II. I know Halo has some kind of "Bible" all official products must adhere to, does Myth also have one?
