what exactly is the mantle of the leveler? is it like an artifact, or is it an expression.
my theory is that it is a helm with horns on it, and that by finding it you take on the spirit of the leveller, or that it can be any helm with horns on it, that is enchanted by magic, by the person who will becme the leveler. also this would fit in with why both moagim and balor had the horned helm and why alric wanted to throw the head into the devoid, because if the head was kept, he would be inclined to study the spells on it and then, in 1000 years, he would be set off by something, and get pissed and get even, and use that same magic that he studied to make his own helm, put it on, and use it's power, for what he thouht would be a good cause, and be overpowered by it and become the leveller.
