The Significance of Gower...

Here is an interesting concept for all you guys... what significance does Gower hold? We know that it fell to the Dark before the Cath Bruig Empire did, and so it must have fallen around the time that Balor bound the Kithless (Myrmidons) to himself.

We also know that Connacht arose from Gower, so it would seem appropriate that he would be very familiar with this area. After he converted to the Dark, he would have surely known the layout of the city and how to invade it properly. So it would seem rather obvious that it would have fallen to Balor rather quickly.

As for what occurred there after the Fallen Lords were destroyed is still debatable. For instance, the two unnamed Fallen Lords could still be holding their dominion over the area. Or they could have been destroyed while attempting to siege it. But regardless, it seems that it serves as some sort of starting point for the reign of the Dark.

So how would the city look in the present day, freed of the clutches of the Dark? Would the undead still roam the city, or would it have been liberated from the tyrany of the Dark's oppression? Also, what secrets were gained from the city that allowed Connacht to rise up and defeat Moagim?

If you have any ideas about these or other related questions, please let me know.

Sincerely,
Pimpyō
