: ...Holy S'pht!
: I don't normally read the fanfics people post here
: because usually I'm bored to death by fan fiction of
: any sort, but this... I actually only read this by
: accident, but wow...
: The writing is far from perfect but the concept is
: amazing! I love it! Psychological stories are perhaps
: my favorite genre. I'd love to see this expanded upon:
: detail the entire six (make it seven, seven's a nicer
: number) years since Mazzarin's ressurection, he begins
: in complete amnesia, a slave to his master's will, but
: then slowly he regains his memories and begins to
: realize who he is, finally breaking almost entirely
: from The Watcher's grasp at the end.
: As you recall the Shade Mazzarin on the level "The
: Watcher" is already severely damaged when he
: teleports in and has no Dispersal Dreams. Some
: theorize this is because Mazzarin inside is still
: struggling to aid the Light. So say at the end, right
: before that battle, he breaks against The Watcher's
: control and assaults a large part of his army - which
: explains why there are so few enemies there, what with
: it being THE WATCHER and all, you'd think there'd be a
: larger army. In the battle he is severely wounded and
: wastes all of his Dreams, but The Watcher finally
: managed to regain control of him and forces him to
: come to his aid. But still he struggles against,
: fights poorly, and in the end lies there dying, as the
: Berserks charge up the bluffs and shatter The
: Watcher... and finally, he is free.
: I would tell three stories in this at once: the details
: of Mazzarin's campaigns under The Watcher, the
: psychological story of his struggle against his
: control, and the recovered memories of Mazzarin the
: Great, realizing who he finally is as he recalls his
: final defeat by The Watcher.
: Do it, do it! I'll help with conceptualization, make sure
: you get all your facts write. I would love to see this
: done!
