I know at least a few of you guys have heard of it, and like it, so I decided to ask you about something related to it..
"It" is EV Nova (well...). I'm currently designing a plug-in for it, with a whole new (mb even two whole new) big mission strands, new versions of ships, new (versions of) technology (I don't have the software to make any graphics that are as visually appealing as theirs are), two new normal governments, etc, etc, etc. Anyway, when I reached the pers resource (pers's being persons, such as Matt Burch, Andrew Welch (the ones in the ships, not the real ones), etc.) I made a few things... if anybody here would like to be included as a pers in my plug-in, respond with a hail quote (optional), or what your character would say when he saw the guy playing the game; a comm quote, or what his greeting for if the guy playing talked to him; and, preferably, a ship type and weapons you want outfitted (up to four different kinds of weaps per pers). I would prefer that we use the names we already use in the asylum, so that we can remember who everybody is.
I would ask anybody who wants to be in this plug-in to help beta-test it when it gets close to being done (which will likely be sometime next summer at the very earliest), or at least everybody who has the game. (If they don't, they can download the shareware from ambrosiasw.com [if they have macs] if they want, but I'm not sure if plug-ins will work without registering, first.)
Also, I created a govt resource to put anybody who wants to be in this into. Right now, it's just called Asylumers, but if you have suggestions for a name, respond with those, too.
Finally; it's okay to do this, right? This won't make Mommy mad, will it?
