Weellll.... It's been a long time since a started a real thread, and, when I read Gholsbane's post yesterday (about starting a good Myth discussion that people of multiple levels can chew on), I rather agreed; I just don't really know enough about Forest Giants to contribute to that one the one he threw out. So, here are some ideas (questions, more like) that I pondered in the shower last night, on subjects that I at least have never yet discussed in the some three quarters of a year that I've known about the site; if they have been discussed before in the history of the site, I'm terribly sorry: but, hey! we can still chew on them! Chewing is what we do, after all!
1) Why is only the children of Wyrd that can be great Heroes/levellers? There (as far as I am able to remember) haven't been very many Trow levellers, or spider levellers, or Myrkridian levellers... etc., etc., etc. (the only logical reason that I can figure out is that if a trow Hero met a spider leveller, the trow would prbly end up going "GAH! Spider! Must... SQUISH," and KIK it into oblivion...)
2) Going along with the above question, is it possible for the children of Nyx or the members of the spider-cult to become levellers or heroes? Or is the Leveller spirit (or divinity, or whatever) only affiliated with Wyrd? And if it is only affiliated with Wyrd, then is it working for Wyrd? Is it an antagonist against Wyrd? Or does Wyrd work for it? [I have a feeling that I've seen a theory about the relationship between Wyrd and the leveller, but I don't remember any concrete proof, so I want other ideas!]
3) Do any other Gods have Dreams, like Wyrd? Or is Wyrd some kind of penultimate divinity, who alone is able to create a "One Dream?"
