He wouldn't need the mirror, he was the Summoner, it was his job to do it without aid. It didn't say in the Codex that he will ressurect the Myrkridia with a big shiny thing.

I doubt he went to Madrigal, he wouldn't time, or the army. And no he couldn't have just flown there, well yeas he could have, but he couldn't take the city by himself and it would months to get his army over there, and the Fallen Lords were pretty competive so I doubt he borrowed anyone else's army. Unless he attacked at the same time as another Fallen Lord. But then he had little reason to go to Madrigal. It makes much much more sense that he took what was left of his force after the battle at the Gjol South to the Devoid.
Also in relation to your "The TAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!" comment when I said what Dec used to get across the Cloudspine, I meant in Myth I not II. The units being brought through the Knot in Force ten from Stoneheim are the Deciever's
