Bre'Unor, people have wondered exactly what their deal is for a while. There's even a Myth 2 mod about them I believe. But I did notice something while playing Myth 3, that surprised me a bit.
I think the Forgotten are somehow related to the Bre'Unor.
Notes of similarties:
The Bre'Unor dress in bone masks that can't be removed, the Forgotten are bones and verdiris.
They are similar in appearance, although battle methods differ.
Both are somewhat mysterious.
Both arise from a forested area. Bre'Unor from the Ermine, the Forgotten from Forest Heart.
Perhaps the Bre'Unor rose from cultists who found the bone remnants of the Forgotten?
