Myth4 storyline

I would like to see what ppl's opinions are on my idea here. It's based off several assumptions, namely: 1) that Alric was killed when the great devoid exploded (from the TFL end cutscene). And 2) that this is an age of darkness. Balor made it happen when he brought the Fallen into the land (like moagim with the myrkrida). The Fallen Lords will be rampaging around every 40-80 years killing vast multitudes, and generally destroying most of civilization with their feuds.

M4 would take place 50 years after soulblighter's defeat (110 years after TFL).

From my origonal post at the MythWolfAge forums:

Lets see, I think that the Fallen who was never named could be called something along the lines of "The Faceless Man". :)

if we start on the premice that Alric was killed when the great devoid exploded, then that means that the faceless man would have been impersonating him for sixty years. This is not strange, however the fact that the faceless man rebuilt the provence during this peroid is hard to explain. I think I have an idea though: The faceless man couldn't fight the armies of the provence after Balor's defeat so he simply did what he thought Alric would have done. However, in doing this is perposly let the provence's army get soft. As the Myth2 narratior says "it seems that too many years of peace have weakened the once legendary armies of the west". I do not think that the faceless man was expecting Soulblighter's attack, but rather that he was biding his time until he could simply roll over everything with his own army of the dark. The Fallen's rivalry made the faceless man fight (and kill) Soulblighter when he resurfaced, but again the army of the provence was strengthend by the conflict. As for why he reestablished the Cath Bruig, well, I'm going to make a leap here, and say that the faceless man is in fact the Head. aka Majarrin. As we have seen in Myth3, he wanted the throne of the Cath Bruig. And now, over a thousand years later, he got his wish.

Present: Fifty years after the defeat of Soulblighter, both the provence and the Cath Bruig have recovered from the war. However, over these years The Deceiver has been gathering his power, and now has the strength to become corporal once more (he IS an archmage after all). Again, the rivalry of the Fallen come into play as the Deveiver gathers forces of both dark and light to himself in an attempt to destroy the faceless man. If the Deceiver can unmask the faceless man, then the entire empire will rize up against the false emperor (thus practiclly ensurring the Deceiver's victory). To prove this beyond a doubt, the Deceiver needs the total codex. And the faceless man will do anything to stop him.

The narratior will of course be a member of the Legion (it's traditional).

As for the faceless man, I assume that he has the power to change forms. After all, if the Deceiver built up the power to practally resurrect himself, then after 1000 years majarrin would have some sort of power. He would also be very persuasive (think M3 majarrin with a good voice actor) and could change his voice at will (a bit like Saruman).
