Minor Story problem

In my story, (sorry for spoiling the ending) Diarmuid dies holding off Soulblighter's forces after Covenant falls and the armies of the Province are broken...etc.

The Watcher and the Deciever took and destroyed Tyr the same year.

So I have a question. What does Soulblighter do in this period of time?

Stand back and let the other Fallen do the dirty work?

*Soulblighter is held back by Diarmuid, sees the Archmage, kicks Diarmuid's butt, smashs his army.

Then what? Surely Soulblighter would have done something?
