Myth III

The Myth III storyline strikes me as rather weak. When looking through the journal entries for it on this site (my computer can't support the game), I noticed first how much the Tain, the coolest artifact in Myth, had been degraded. It should not be something any bunch of dwarves can whip up if they have the blueprints! There is only one Tain! Second, the pack-mages go against all the principles of Myrkridia. How could a race with an average IQ of around 5 have mages? Much of the plot seems based around setting up the scenario of Myth I and II, only it is done in the crudest and sloppiest way. The story of Connacht is therein mangled even as it is fleshed out. The whole thing seems like the creation of a very unimaginative and ignorant Myth fan.
