Zand... whoa! Sound like the most dedicated proponent for the Myth movie!
For the life of me, I cannot find a story I wrote about after the final battle during the second war. It was a Heron narrating his personal experience with Soulblighter, who slaughtered a small camp of berserks and some dwarves back in his jman days. More action than anything else, but the dialog and flashback scenes could very easily be modified to be part of a screenplay. This brief blurb gives it no justice, trust me :)
Also, I would expect, from the perspective of an audience member, that the seige and sortie at the Baron's castle would include perriers and onagers and other seige weapons, for effect. A bunch of guys standing around waiting for an invisible midget to blow open the bridge just wouldn't cut it in a movie.
Personally the possibility of 'love' in this movie should be nil. We can't make everyone happy... we have to focus on a certain audience. Yes, a male audience, just as chick flicks focus on women. However the idea previously stated of men leaving their wives and families is excellent.
For TFL, a clash between Myrdred and the Watcher amid their rampaging armies would call for thousands of pounds of red water and lots of special effects for the two sorcerors. Well, this pretty much applies for any major battle scene in Myth, so we're sure of one thing: this would be an expensive movie 8)
I've got craploads of more ideas, just as we all do, but typing about this just makes me hyper. Must cool down before something pops.

PS- if we actually find a way for this dream to come true, swear a solemn oath that you'll let me direct the battle scene between Rabican and the Watcher!
