Some questions:
Why is every body unhappy with M3 made by MJ?
Why some people say we musn't play M3 because the story is wrong or it isn't true?
Why many people prefer Bungie than MJ?
I think it's the same. MJ started with the Bungie story, without changing anything and invented the story that they need to make the Wolf Age. If Bungie had done M3, do they had done anything different? I understand that you don't like some parts of the story, but do you like all the story of TFL and SB, they aren't perfect.
Buy M3 and have fun, because having fun is the base of every game.
