Wrong graphics in art, cuts, and in game

Hey, I noticed a strange thing about the artworks, and the in-game graphics, The simple soldiers have round shields in the cutscenes(maybe cause this was the old design of them).
And the drawings pre-game shows their gloves like leather made,and their ringmail is only a coat, then the in-game shows a paltemail glove and an ringmail filling all the body.
Strange huh ?
