(I'm talking about in "CoD: The Deciever")
Here's the new flavors for them:
"...Ignoring the explosions surrounding him, Kongorong brought his club down on the nearest dwarf, teeth gnashing in anticipation as he lunged for the next..."
"Rarely seen during the Great War, the Mauls were killers who fought for whoever payed the most... or, [in the case of Myrdred] whoever controled their feeble minds best."
"...Aside from the Trow I saw at Covenant from the walls, such brute strength was foreign to me and menacing indeed... After Thorulf brought one down, my awe diminished."
"...It is said that the Mauls at Tyr were the first of their kind to set foot in the West, after being brought back as mind-slaves from the Deciever's eastern campaign..."
Too much stuff in the level is dependant on mauls, like the Deciever's escort in one of the endgame scenarios, the huge maul trap, and other places where they are *perfectly* suited for the job. To do anything else would require way too much work, and I'd rather be creative instead.
Oh, and I've cleaned up the story a bit, tightened it up and added some more info ("Dawn is breaking, and Rabican has sent us into the Deciever's camp through a Local Knot")
