THE WATCHER

In light of recent events (Asylum Night 5), and the discussions that took place there, I am bringing up an old discussion. I think it's old, at least. Not completely sure. Anyway, as many people have noticed, the Watcher is supposed to be missing his left arm, but in every picture of him that we see, he's missing his right arm. Why is this.

The main suggestion for this from the Fifth Asylum Night was that the man killed by those 100 berserks in the Dire Marsh was not the Watcher. He was a decoy set forth by the Watcher, and enchanted by him to turn to stone when the arrow hit him. The watcher may now be biding his time as soulblighter did, yet with more patience. Maybe he knows something that Soulblighter did not. A more powerful weapon than the myrkridia? One can only guess.

Another question that was raised was did the living watcher plant the explosion on shiver to kill the deceiver? Was he trying to best Myrdred at his own game by using subterfuge to destroy his most hated enemy? Once again, one can only guess. Most of us were against this idea, because we still think that either Soulblighter set the trap and sacrificed Shiver, or the Deceiver did it to fake his death. Strange, Most people don't think that it was just shiver. I sure as hell don't think it was her. She was too stupid... that's for another day.

Last question about our happy Mad Goat of the Fens... Is he a fir'Bolg? Bahl'al sure looks fir'Bolgish to some people. Maybe he came from that area?
