Old Myth STuff as seen in the strategy guide

I don't know how many of you have the Sybex strategy guide to Myth: TFL, but I found all kinds of interesting stuff in it.

In order to come out the same time as the game, these guides must be written beforet he game is actually complete. This gives the reader a look into what the game was a few months before completion.

Page 4 shows Myth's new game screen. There are several differences from the release version.

* The training map is listed as an option. I'm not sure if this is how you were originally meant to access it, or if there was always a traing button on the main screen.

* The Challenging Stage is listed under its old name.

* The difficulty levels use their names from Marathon. Kindergarten and Easy appear to be grayed out.

There is a second square to the left of the one with the picture of the warrior and thrall. It is empty. This is the case in all screenshots in the book.

On page 52, there's a screenshot of Crow's Bridge showing the dwarf's flavor text. It reads "The early dwarfish eddas always speak of heroes 'having gone north into the mountains to slay Ghols', but most repeated is tale of Dvalin son of Alfrigg, third ephor of Stoneheim ..." Notice the word dwarfish and the typo.

On page 127, Sinis is shown saying "Indeed, I bet you thought you'd seen the last of me, Alric!" In the realease version he says, "Indeed, Alric. Then I'll wager you thought you'd seen the last of me."

Bagrada's mission objective is "Lead you forces into the narrowest and most easily defensible part of the pass. Be sure not to leave any enemy forces behind you."

The objective of Seven Gates is to kill everything, rather than just Scarripant.

The unit guide list Trow as being 20 points. In earlier chart Wights are listed as 4, but are correct on the big one. It also gives seperate values for the hero variants of units, with Berserk Heroes costing 6, Dwarven heroes and pathfinders costing 5(huh?) and Archer heroes also as 5.

I may analyze all the screenshots at some point, but I'm tired.
