Name: CoD: The Deciever

Current Status: 60% complete

Current Version: b1

Estimated time to testing: 10 days

Story:

Thursday, November 10, Fifth Year
Between the Plain of Scales and the Cloudspine

The battle for Tyr raged for the better part of a week before The Watcher destroyed the garrison on the north wall. Shortly thereafter, the south wall fell to the Deceiver, and within minutes the two Fallen Lords were pouring into the city, destroying all who dared stand in their way. Within the broken walls of the city, the most extraordinary thing happened - they began to fight each other.

I know not why the two Fallen Lords clashed so violently, but I'm sure the true reasons go back beyond living memory. The Watcher was worsted - his army destroyed. Severely wounded and angry as hell, he fled the wrath of his rival east, hoping desperately to cross the cloudspine before it was sealed off by Rabican's southern garrison.

The Deciever would not let him rest. With ultimate victory over the Watcher so close at hand, he pursued his enemy across the Plain of Scales. The Watcher escaped - but now the Deciever will find himself in the same predicament. His army is camped in the foothills by the Plains, in some of the most treacherous terrain I have ever seen. Dark chasms wait to swallow up those who stray too far from the path...

Rabican has chosen a group of us to enter the camp and destroy the Deceiver's army once and for all. We will no doubt face all forms and manner of trickery and foul play from this slippery fellow, but if we succeed, the West will have been purged of the Fallen Lords, for now...

Additional Info: First map ever to incorporate complete randomness - not just a different order of attacks but completely different armies faced during any two attempts to play this map.

Possible controversy: Includes mauls as enemy units on this map. Is this justifiable?

I'm thinking that for one asylum night, maybe two nights from now... we can test the first complete beta of this level. Any takers?
