Celtic Myth-ology tie in

OK I found a few tie-ins with Myth in Celtic mythology while researching for Myth:War of Ages. One of the other members of the W.O.A team has the book at the moment, so bear with me, 'cause this is all from memory.

OK, first off. Rhi'annon. In old Celtic mythology, this seems to be a place, as in one passage it states that the birds of Rhiannon appeared and sang to the main character of the story. In addidtion, it seems to be the name of an otherworldly woman who mates with mortal men in order to have a son. I can't remember any more about her.

Second. The Fir'bolg. This is indeed the name of a race, as many of the Inmates have already revealed. The book I got revealed little about them from the Celtic standpoint. Fir Bolg was also the name of one of the four invasions of Ireland.

Tres. Cu Roi. Cu Roi is the name of (I think) a sorceror or druid. I never got a chance to read his story, more on him when I do.

Four. The Tain. There is but one reference to this in the entire several hundred page book. The story speaks of having someone collect all the *shards* of the tale known as the TaÌn. And that is an accented "i" in case it doesn't show up properly. Although the TaÌn is obviously a tale or story of some sort, it couldn't have been too hard to make it be an artifact.

Well, ladies and gentlemen, that is all for now. I thank you for your time and patience whilst I ramble on, and prove that Ares isn't the only one who can uncover ancient mythology parallels.
