Ages? (maybe spoiloer im not so sure)

I havn't played M3 yet but I'm partying on the spoiloers

ANYWAY
from only what I heard I learned that there is an age called
the age of splendor
which was after the axe age but before the age of reason
the age of reason is of the light , so if its there it has to be a dark age but it has a name of light age.
I probably didnt udnerstand right, but anyway what I think is that the age of splendor is another name for the age of reason
So we have
Age of the Axe --> Age of Reason --> The wind Age --> The wolf Age --> The sword Age
