Don't worry Disc. I also think that Journal entry/battle, journal entry/battle, etc... is too boring. Besides, there are some battles themselves that would be incredibly boring to watch. There are a lot of areas where I have scenes intercutting to show a passage of time and that there were some battles; this has been covered by the journal writer giving an entry as a voice-over. Basically, this way I can cover minor battles in a matter of minutes.

And HGK, I've interspersed stories about some of the main characters (I think I've covered every race) and it helps to show the desperation of this war from their point of view (I'll give away the sad part, though. Most of them die in the last battle). As far as love, I didn't put in a love story, but the soldiers do tell stories of their wives/loved ones back home who they are fighting this war to ensure their future.

The last battle at Rhi'anon would be cinematic gold, and that's in there. I've taken out a lot of the smaller battles to emphasize on this one. Just the sheer size of the Dark against the small rag-tag Light force would give the audience some kind of that desperate feeling that this war is.

Well, I think I've touched on everyone's concerns for now. Don't worry, one day (soon I hope), when I'm comfortable with the end product, I'll let everyone read it for your opinions. I want it to be perfect, you know.
