I read alot of unusual stuff, and when I read some stuff in Irish/Celtic mythology (told you it was wierd) that got me thinking. There was a race caled the Fomori. The name of the chief of the Fomori has a familiar name. Balor. He had one of the ultimate weapon. His one eye that whithered all it looked upon. 2 races tried to settle in Ireland but were killed of by the Fomori. The a new race sucseded. The fir'Bolg(also Fir Bholg) . They interbred with the Fomori and inherited their battle-sickness. And the name of a land. Connacht. And Cath Bruig has a connection, but I'm still pursuing that one. Though Durin, Balin, Ori, Gloin, Gimli, Fili, Kili, Thorin, Dain, Oin, for example are from Tolkien. New info. Part of a berzerk name is "of the Silver Hand" Nuhadu Airgedlamh defeated the fir'Bolg but lost his hand. He was unfit for kingship and the cruel Bres took over. He was so hated that Nuhadu was called back and a silver hand was forged for him.
