Where Does Andir Live?

Here's a little puzzle for the Asylumites. Whilst it would be impossible for us to pinpoint an exact location of Andir's village, we should be able to narrow it down to an area.

Now, assuming that Sili (and the rest of the Asylumites aside from me) are right, and Andir was killed in the 17 days between The Great Library and Gate of Storms, then we can draw a number of things from this. I figure we could start by deciding if Andir's from the East or West.

WEST
*Soulblighter was at Covenant to get the Codex and failed, which places him in the West 17 days before the attack on Madrigal.
*Most of the populated villages are in the west.
*Soulblighter emerged in the east, and attacked several locations. You'd think a Fallen Lord and thousands of Undead would be the kind of news that would travel fast, even in an isolated area.
*The Legion is present in Willow Creek and Tallow. There aren't many other settlements in the east, and you'd assume what few there were would be fairly close together. If they are close together, then Soulblighter's attacks would be fairly common knowledge.

EAST
*Soulblighter does not lead the attack on Madrigal (Shiver does), and it is safe to assume that he has some Myrkridia with him. Where would he go if he wasn't in the West? Probably his camp in the Cloudspine area, which is in the East.
*The eastern settlements are least likely to know of Soulblighter's return, as there are no visible lines of communication (world knots or major trade centres).

THINGS TO BE CONSIDERED
*Andir explores a forest. This doesn't help us much, a smallish forest wouldn't be marked on the map.
*Andir knows of Shiver and Soulblighter, and describes how Shiver brushing against trees withered them. If the trees he is describing WERE brushed by Shiver, then we can safely guess he is in the east, as that is where Madrigal is.
*Since the horde 'dashed' we can basically eliminate everything bar Ghol and Myrkridia. Since Ghol would be fairly common knowledge, I think Myrkridia is right, just more proof to the puzzle.
