The Enemy=Berzerks?

I just noted something interesting and thought I would toss it out here.

At the storyline sight on GoDs Myth page the Berzerks are mentioned as the enemy.

Does anyone have more in-depth information on this?

I always thought that the Northmen helped defend Murthemni from the Myrkridia, and Conocht had their dead buried in the catacomes as a reward.

Perhaps they did not come down of their own will?
