I've been realizing there might be at least a minor interest in a clan for we Asylumites. I've looked into this a good deal for a while now, so I thought I'd throw this out there and see what responses there would be.
I have more time than Forrest, so I'd be more than willing to set up a nice, democratic order for us. Naturally, it would primarily be on Myth III. Does this sound like something everyone would like to partake in?
Now, I realize that there are definitely a few people who most likely could not be an "official" Asylumite because of previous reservations they have in their present orders. Any such person would be, without a doubt, an honorary Order of the Asylum member (as any regular poster here is an unofficial Asylumite), but just couldn't and wouldn't wear the tag. Would people still feel so excluded?
Further, what about the title of this new clan? Would it have to be purely Asylum, or could we engage in a couple other venues of interest, like having respect for people, philosophying in honor and dignity, and being generous to those around (whout being too kind to newbies, naturally, or assholes)? Actually, this is starting to sound like the Heron Guard: defenders of virtue, yet still philosophers and great sages of history.
Maybe, too, a more interesting type of people will present itself and emerge in Myth III which will characterize what we are or what we want to rabble as in a better way than even the Herons.
Anyone still interested? If there is a considerable expression of such, I'll get right on forming this for us, finishing long before the time Myth III comes out.
