In Response To: Re: fallen struck... (Martel)

: Soulblighter: left his heart in a temple in the Untamed
: Lands. Stick it in a new body, and well, what do you
: know...

mb you're right about that one, but I still think then when a game called Myth II: Soulblighter ends in Soulblighter's demise, well... I think he's dead for good.

: The Watcher: see the whole "two left arms
: theory" thing.

i think that left arm deal was a simple mix up. it happens in every game, every movie, every TV series, and every book. i think he's dead for good too, personally. Alric used that trap and got em, and it wouldn't make a whole ton of sense for all that to be for nothing. especially a level named after him in which you actually bag em.

: The Deciever: see the whole "the Deciever faked his
: death" theory.

this one theory is something that I'm beginning to believe more and more. I don't think the old fart is dumb enough to allow himself to be killed by some Tramist's Mirror magic-debris stuff. mb he 'jumped' from his body into Phelot's and lives inside that body. though it's unlikely in the Big Picture™ I like it anyway.

: Shiver: was, assuming that she and Ravanna are the same
: person, on her second and third lives in TFL and
: Soulblighter respectively. She's been resurrected
: twice, and who's to say she can't be resurrected
: again? Fallen Lords take some killing.

Shiver and Ravanna are most definitely the same person i think. It's right there in the flavor texts! Anyway, I'm beginning to think that not just her new body was destroyed, but also her spirit was too. that's what that death shower was i think.

: Bonesplitter/The Faceless Man...

since you never hear these guys names in-game, I assume they are most likely the least significant of the 6 Fallen. of course they're powerful, but SB, Shiver, Myrdred, and the Watcher are much more powerful.

Assuming im right that the 2 were the least powerful, then its 99% likely that they got bagged For Real™ after the Great War. Soulblighter just fled from the Devoid and Myrdred was thought to be dead, thus probably the Faceless Man and Bonesplitter [if those names are valid] died.

: And finally, remember: That's history as recorded by the
: Light. And if you want to avoid civil unrest and
: panic, telling your people that there's a few GFallen
: Lords sitting on their doorstep tends not to be a
: terribly good idea. :)

very good point :)
