Ok, first thing:
Archer and "what???????": Stop it. "What", stop getting so fscking pissed off at Archer. Archer... well you're behaving now that the whole GURPS thing is over, so keep it up.
As to Chimera, it is Bungie authorized material and thus counts as cannon, as much as we may not like that. We know from info on the old Chimera prologue on its now-non-existant web page that it at least started in or near the Untamed Lands. We also know that it takes place near Forest Heart, because a sign in "Salvation" points to Fosgarach, which is the location of the cemetary in Chimera. There is a forest called Ruewood, which could easily be in Forest Heart. There is also a south-facing beach, and a river; the Wild River and Cavan Bight, both near Forest Heart, could fit these places. There are Dwarves in the early levels; Forest Heart is near the Dwarven lands. As far as Cartucke and the war with Soulblighter, this is 11 years after M2, Kyrilla looks in her early 20s, and she remembers events from her father's death rather vividly, which would mean she would needs to be at least gradeschool level in M2 times; which make sense. And Soulblighter learned his Dark Arts in the Untamed Lands, just like Kyrilla; it would certainly make sense if he learned them from the demon Cartucke.
And those are human bowmen at the end of The Forge. Human bowmen have goatees and mustaches just like fir'Bolg, you will notice.
