What About The Ents?

Whatever happened to the Ents bungie had planned to be in Myth - the fallen lords?

Archers were supposed to be able to sit on these flying creatures backs and shoot from there; be able to land and lift again.

I even have an old picture of an Ent; looks pretty cool (it's from 96).
