Hmm I was looking at Archers myth timeline, and I knowticed that it said that Caliban made the truce with the fir bolg (about 50 years before i thought it was) while Alric was still alive however, and since the flavor implies that Caliban was a king, Caliban must be Alric's Father.... I had always thought it had refered to a muirthmnian emperor, since caliban is such a cath bruigy-name
also Mauriac the Prince Regent would have to be Alric's older half brother, if my medevil knowledge serves me right (im a little hazy on this) If Mauriac was the queen and some other man's son, or the king (caliban?) and some other woman's son and was born before alric, when the king died he would have needed to be the king in all but name (so they called them prince regent), but since he was not direct heir after ALric came of age alric would take over as King...
