: light was not supposed to win. I would not consider
: this to be just simply part of the Wolf Age. The
: leveller has been beaten when he was not supposed to
: be, and the cycle has possibly been broken. I would
: think that this would warrant an age of it's own.

Well, we can't use the assumption that because man seems to be choosing his own fate that it's a new occurance. When the ages cycles from light to dark, we know that there was always stiff resistance to the change. I don't think the rulers of the various empires throughout the history of myth would say to themselves "well, we've been in power for 1000 years, lets just let the dark army roll over us."
Also, if you accept the theory of Alric/Balor cycles, then the two obviously battled before, and always resulted in the Light/Dark cycle.
I'm not sure where I'm going with this, but I really don't think that the cycle has been completely broken, this could just be a deceptive dark plot or something. Anyway, I hope we get more than just new gameplay in Myth 3.
