I won't speculate what this portends but...
In reading some Russian history I came across this:
"...When a Rus Prince, Rurik, came to take control, the land became known as the land of the Rus.
In 907 Prince Oleg, one of Rurik's descendants, invaded the Eastern Roman Empire with 2,000 ships. He 'accomplished much slaughter among the Greeks," and supposedly nailed his shield to the palace in Constanstinople. This expansion brought the then-capital of Kiev into an advantageous trade agreement, and contact with the Christian religion and culture of Constanstinople. Out of this came the first Russian state, Kievan Russia.
When the successor to Oleg was killed, Oleg's widow, Olga, took over in 945. After avenging the death of Oleg and Igor, his successor, she reigned for seventeen years. She was the first honored woman in Russian History, and the first Slav ruler to convert to Christianity..."
...and the history goes on; I just wanted to share the part about Oleg.
