The "Lovers Theory"

Pfhor thought of a mild concept that Shiver and Damas were, perhaps, lovers at one point. I at first dimissed this, but then I looked into it and created my own theory.

Let's say, during the beginning of the Wolf Age, when Connacht was kicking Moagim Reborn ass, Shiver realized that Dark was going to lose, so she decided to defect to the Light. She then hailed Connacht with the best of them, and maybe she even slept with Damas. This connection might explain why, when Damas and Myrdred were taken to the Dark Side with Connacht, Shiver might have went along for the ride, becoming Dark again…while The Watcher never went through that, like Shiver, and therefore was kind of the odd-ball in TFL. Myrdred hated The Watcher the most, though. I attribute this to the fact that Shiver was a former ally of The Watcher before she defected, so she wouldn't care like Dec did. Connacht, as Balor, needed to keep perspective and leadershipness, so he didn't want to antagonize one of his subbordinates simply because he was a former enemy, and put aside his Connachtial feelings. Myrdred, however, didn't need to keep leadership perspective (I suspect he was Light on the inside all the time anyway, or at least not Dark), nor did he have any friendship with The Watcher before, so they fight often, as seen in TFL.
So, Shiver and Damas had this thing going back a while to when they briefly allied (I'm guessing Shiver was more attractive then too). Shiver was also the only Fallen that Soulblighter ressurected, of course, as well. This may be because Shiver was the only one Soulblighter was ABLE, or willing, to get back simply because of his own power, or the power that Shiver had to offer out of experience.
Never-the-less, in "Shiver," Shiver says "Will you bow to anyone who claims the Throne of the Cath Bruig?" I figure Shiver is trying to insult Dec by reminding him how he just let Connacht walk right into the picture and take control, where, as I believe, Dec had the ability to have control of The Nine, and perhaps the Empire itself as well. Dec, witty as ever with his poetic fury, retorts with "The path to retribution," as Dec has redeemed himself by becoming Light again, "does make for strange bedfellows," which could indicate that Alric is Moagim Reborn, Dec's former enemy, a strange bedfellow. "Would you not agree, Ravanna?" This implies that Dec remembered how Shiver turned the Light, perhaps redeeming herself in a way for a time, with the rather strange bedfellow of her enemy, Damas. (Pfhor had recognized the possibility that "bedfellow" was meant, at least in part, to be of sexual connotation, indicating that Shiver was now fellow in the bed with Damas/Soulblighter.) The simple concept of love, physical or emotional, between two Fallen Lords is, itself, very odd and strange. This is also to kind of poke fun at Shiver, Shiver reacting to it as if she had just been called a "slut" by Dec, which she basically was :-). This is why she gets so angry at that remark, throwing a tantrum and one-woman cat fight. :-D
Also, "I've said this before, Myrdred, and now that mouth of yours is finally going to get you killed!" could mean that Myrdred was the only one who knew about the affair, and he might have been hinting to Connacht or others, Shiver obviously requesting that Myrdred not speak a word of it, or "that mouth of" his was "finally going to get" him "killed." This is despite the fact that Dec can easily piss people off when he talks…I know! I do it too sometimes! :-)
