Scott Campbell Interview

How do you guys think they'll change the multiplayer scoring system? Hopefully they'll keep the individual game type system to prevent(or at least control) TFL style wh00ring. MB they could add a feature so the map you play on affects the score as well, which would definitely reduce rampant unimapping. I don't know about anybody else, but the reason i don't play multiplayer anymore is that everyone is busy playing WW2, which seems insanely boring to me (also cuz i'm too busy with mythmaster, but i digress:P). Perhaps they might also might make it so 3rd party maps couldn't be played in ranked (that's just a suggestion.. i'm not necessarily advocating it).

This quote caught my attention:
"As far as gameplay issues, we are harkening back to the days of Myth:TFL, where clumping units is not the way to win
battles."(Steve Campbell, to quote properly).

What do you think he means by this? Will formation editing no longer be possible(or not in multiplayer)? Will there be more units of mass destruction? Will meelee units work differently, in a way that clumping is not a good idea(such as meelee swings possibly hitting more than one unit?)

Thinking back to a page on mbo that showed unimplemented features of tfl, will units have a walking speed as well as running speed? Will units without shields be able to block(has visions of something like the lightsaber battle in Phantom Menace or the zerk/myrm battle in the opening cutscene of TFL)? Will some units have mana like in SB? And if the trees are defoilable.. what about dirt blasting up from dorf molotovs??

I hope SOMEONE from mumbo jumbo looks at this forum.. mb then we can get some answers.
