"Twice Born" narration date a mistake?

I'm wondering if the "Twice Born" date is actually two days too early. Compare the narrations on the last three levels.

Shiver: Saturday, April 25th--"Shiver has blocked us from getting at Soulblighter for two days now. We're sending the Deceiver and his guys to get Shiver. Meanwhile, we're gonna outflank Soulblighter and pin him down."

Twice Born: Saturday, April 25th--"We've been battling Soulblighter's main force for two days."

The Forge: Monday, April 27th--"Soulblighter escaped into Tharsis, and he plans to blow up the Cloudspine. All the able-bodied men are following."

Now, there are a few oddities about this:

1) The Light tries to outflank and pin down Soulblighter's army on Saturday--but they've been battling its main force since Thursday! An all-out battle wouldn't make sense unless they'd already forced Soulblighter to stand and fight earlier.

2) Shiver spends two days blocking the Light from getting a shot at Soulblighter--but for those same two days, according to the narrator, the Light's been fighting Soulblighter himself and doing extremely well!

3) Two days into this climactic final battle with its appalling losses on both sides, the narrator somehow finds the time to sit down and write not one but *two* journal entries, while The Deceiver strolls around shouting about Shiver.

4) Soulblighter, wounded, flees into Tharsis. The Light knows he won't die, and they believe he's going to try to shatter the Cloudspine and destroy the world. Yet they sit around for two full days before going in to get him! Then, all of a sudden, they get excited again and the narrator has to write his journal entry "hurriedly."

5) In those two full days, Alric gathers every fit soldier to help him finish off Soulblighter. And the most people he can find is...a couple of dozen. That doesn't even make sense from a gameplay perspective; you can manage thirty at once!

Wouldn't it work better if "Twice Born" actually occurred on *Monday*? Then you'd have a chain of events like:

• Thursday-Friday: Shiver blocks the Light from getting at Soulblighter.

• Saturday: Deceiver prepares to kill Shiver. Alric prepares to outflank Soulblighter and finally get a clear shot at his main force. The narrator writes this down.

• Saturday-Sunday: The Light army battles Soulblighter's main force while The Deceiver kills Shiver.

• Early Monday: After two days of fighting, Soulblighter's army is almost exterminated and Alric prepares to strike at Soulblighter himself. The narrator writes this down.

• Mid Monday: The events of "Twice Born" occur; Alric duels with Soulblighter and he flees into Tharsis. Alric hastily gathers the few able-bodied men nearby and prepares to go in and get Soulblighter before he can shatter the Cloudspine. The narrator records this.

• Late Monday: The events of "The Forge" occur. You win.

Don't that look nice?
