I think in the MS Conference they just said it 'made it better' along the lines of running way more smoothly and refined. No code is touched.

Also something cool, I saw in the IGN stream afterward one of the Microsoft big wigs said that you could technically system link an original Xbox, an Xbox 360, an Xbox One and an Xbox One X and play OG Xbox games that way. Pretty cool if true!
