In Firefight it depends on the wave. It's highly situational, based on what we have lying around, and what my teammates are using. If you stick to one combination no matter what, you'll not get as far as you'd like. Generally speaking however, I tend to stick to some kind of head shot weapon coupled with a plasma pistol or rifle. Heavy weapons come out when the big guys do.
