I was planning a big celebration with interviews and stuff, but I thought about it...."Nah, it'd seem kinda gay." The final day has arrived and after reviewing the films, which was the most torturous thing I've ever done in my entire life, the winner is... A Flyin' Hobo!!! He won with a total of--get this--21 hours, 22 minutes and 1 second. Amazing. But, I do want to draw attention to the Runner-Up. He accomplished just as much as Flyin' Hobo did, trying and trying again to get the higher time. These two went neck and neck for the entire duration of the contest, sending in dozens of re-submissions. And if it wasn't for an unforseen disaster with his Internet connection, he would've pulled ahead at the finish line for the win. Everyone, please clap your hands towards your computer screen for FyreWulff Rex. He's our 2nd place competitor for the Recontest, with an astounding time of 20 hours, 19 minutes, and 30 seconds. This means that in the end, they were only 1 hour, 2 minutes and 31 seconds apart. Unbelievable. An hour and 2 minutes may seem like a lot to you, but to them(and to me), it was without a doubt, the closest match I've ever seen. I honestly wish I could give Recon to both of you. You've worked tirelessly and with a burning passion to win Halo 3 I'm so proud! Like a mother. Here's a fun statistic--Longest Film Run of All Time.---Sierra 117 by Flyin' Hobo: 4 HOURS, 9 MINUTES AND 48 SECONDS. I had to WATCH all of that. I'm never doing a contest like this again. Next time I do a Campaign Contest(what the hell am I gonna give away?), it'll be something simple, like points or something. Something real easy....
