Almost insultingly dumb. Not almost, actually. I'm insulted that whoever made that thought that I wouldn't think that is was insultingly dumb.

That was really bad.

I kind of wish that digital video cameras, video hosting websites, and the simple embedding of videos from video hosting websites hadn't ever been imagined. I'm ok with forums, because I don't think that forums necessitate this kind of dumbery, but the other three things really do invite just this level of stupidness.

I feel bad for the people who chart their life-paths on the idea that self-produced web-videos are a viable avenue to success. And I feel worse for people like these guys for whom a limited, but probably rabid (even if poorly articulated), fan bass provide some deeply misguided sense of true worth, when really all they've accomplished is to make total fools of themselves in a very public way.
